Vredenburg Manor House
Our guest house, although dating out the 1800's, is newly restored and decorated. Our website would only be finished in at the end of August. I have attached some photo's you can have a look at. I am also providing you some information regarding the area and our location:
Vredenburg is a charming Cape Dutch Guest House, which originates from the 1800's, ideally situated 8km from Somerset West, 40 km east of Cape Town and only 15 minutes from the airport.
Owned by Norbert and Wendy Claussen and managed by myself, we at Vredenburgh put a great emphasis on service to our guests.
With our experience in hospitality and knowledge of the area, we can offer you valuable information related to sightseeing and excursions, restaurant bookings and even golfing appointments.
We can arrange car rentals at competitive rates including free pick-up and drop off at the airport.

Surroundings
Somerset West is located in close proximity to most attractions in the Cape area.
The wine route starts in Somerset West and leads to Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl.
The wine estates Vergelegen, Morgenster and Lourensford, as well as Helderberg Nature Reserve are also local attractions.
During the season whales can be seen in abundance along the coast between Gordon's Bay and Hermanus, two towns that are connected with a beautiful scenic coastal road.
Cape Town and surroundings, such as Cape Point, are easily accessible.
Please contact me with any other enquiries regarding the above or any other information you might need. I will gladly assist.
